    Youth Music Mentorship

    Youth Music Mentorship

Comprehensive instrument training and music theory education for underserved youth.

    About This Program

Our Youth Music Mentorship program provides students with one-on-one instruction in traditional Korean instruments including the gayageum, haegeum, and janggu. Students learn music theory, performance techniques, and the cultural significance of Korean music traditions. Classes are held weekly with opportunities for ensemble practice and public performances.

    Who Benefits

Youth ages 8-18 from underserved communities who have limited access to quality music education. No prior musical experience required.

    How It Works

Students attend weekly one-hour lessons with experienced instructors, receive loaned instruments for home practice, participate in monthly group rehearsals, and perform in biannual showcases. All programs are provided free of charge.
